One of the our key values is being clear what your cake or class will cost. No added extras and mark-ups here! We will try and agree a price in line with your budget early on. There are a couple of things I need to let you know up front about our policy on pricing, deposits, delivery charges and refunds before you place an order with us.
Pricing and Deposits
When we have agreed a price for a cake it is best to try to adhere to this on both sides. I will gladly make adjustments, but these should be kept to a minimum once a final design is agreed. As much as possible I will try to stay within you desired budget in setting out a quote. I have included a detailed transparent outline of how I price commissions within each section of this website.
My deposit policy is as follows:

- Orders of £50 or less or less than 1 month in advance to be paid in full at time of order
- Orders that are more than £50 in total(even if multiple different elements) are subject to 30% deposit if being made 6 months or more in advance
- If and order is made between 1-6 months in advance require a 50% deposit
- Outstanding balances for all orders must be paid no later than 10 working days before delivery of order. I will send a reminder emails a week before this deadline, but if this is not received in timely fashion I will contact you to confirm the order is being cancelled. Unfortunately at this stage your deposit will be forfeited

Delivery Charges and Transit Damage
I will package and deliver your order for a flat fee of £5 within a 20 mile radius of Cardiff. I will deliver cakes outside of this area at an additional cost of 40p per mile. Please can you confirm the delivery location at the earliest possible opportunity, so I can plan travel timings.
Please note: if you decide to collect your cake I will ensure it is packed appropriately. I can not offer refunds and replacements for cakes damaged in transit.
Refunds
We all know that things can go wrong so I don’t want to be too strict about the no-refunds policy. So here is some guidance on how I will try to be fair without incurring too much additional cost.

- In the event of serious illness or family bereavement I will be happy to refund a deposit or balance for a cake minus any direct cost incurred for ingredients etc.
- If you are seriously struggling financially I will try to find a way to adjust your order if there is time to do so or issue a 50% refund of any payments made to date
- If your event is cancelled due to circumstances outside of your control please get in touch. I will aim to refund any non-committed costs if you are not insured.
I will not be applying time restrictions on the above policy. Though, obviously the sooner I am aware of your circumstance the greater the possible refund available.
Finally, if you are unhappy with your purchase I will make every effort to address this. If your purchase does not meet your expectations, and we both agree falls short of the design agreed, I will provide a replacement or a refund.
